Children learn best when they experience things firsthand. At Li’l Miracles International Preschool, we use activity-based learning to transform everyday concepts into engaging, memorable lessons. This approach not only builds academic understanding but also nurtures essential life skills.
Case Study 1: Market Activity – Learning Through Role Play
We set up a colourful mini-market within the preschool, complete with stalls, play currency, and eager little shopkeepers. Children learned:
Basic Math Skills – Counting money, calculating change, and understanding value.
Communication – Talking politely with “customers” and expressing needs clearly.
Decision Making – Choosing what to “buy” with their limited play currency.
Case Study 2: Traffic Rules Activity – Safety with Fun
On our in-built traffic road path, complete with traffic lights, zebra crossings, and signboards, children became pedestrians, cyclists, and “traffic police.” They learned:
Road Safety – Stopping at red lights, crossing only at zebra crossings.
Responsibility – Understanding that rules keep everyone safe.
Observation Skills – Recognising road signs and their meanings.
Why Activity-Based Learning Works
Hands-on experiences ensure that children don’t just memorise — they understand, apply, and retain knowledge. It builds confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills.
Our Commitment
At Li’l Miracles International Preschool, every activity is designed to spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and prepare children for the real world — one playful lesson at a time.
