Why We Celebrate Teacher’s Day

Teacher’s Day is observed on September 5th, marking the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great teacher, philosopher, and former President of India. The day reminds us of the invaluable role teachers play not only in education but also in building character, values, and confidence in children.

The Role of Teachers in Early Learning

Preschool years are the foundation of a child’s journey. At this tender age, teachers are more than just instructors—they are caregivers, nurturers, and role models.

  • They make learning joyful through songs, stories, and play.
  • They instill values like sharing, kindness, and respect.
  • They encourage curiosity so that every “Why?” gets a meaningful answer.
  • Most importantly, they create a safe space where children feel loved and supported.

Teacher’s Day at Li’l Miracles International Preschool

This year, our little superheroes celebrated Teacher’s Day in their own special way:

  • Children made handmade cards and crafts as tokens of love.
  • Fun role-play activities where children dressed up as their “favorite teachers.”
  • Heartwarming moments when tiny voices said, “Thank you, Ma’am!” with big smiles.
  • A small celebration with parents and staff to recognize the collective effort behind nurturing every child.

A Thank You Note

To our teachers at Li’l Miracles International—thank you for being patient, creative, and endlessly inspiring. You are the true guardians of tomorrow, shaping not just minds but also hearts.

As we celebrate Teacher’s Day, let’s remember that behind every confident child stands a teacher who believed in them first.
